Last week, Samsung released a new software update for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea. Besides the June 2026 security patch, the update introduced the Notification Highlights feature to the phones in the lineup. Now, the update is expanding to more countries around the world.
Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out the update to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Edge in India. It carries firmware version S93xBXXUACZF1, has a download size of nearly 1GB, and brings the June 2026 security patch along with the Notification Highlights feature.
Notification Highlights, which includes Prioritize Notifications and Summarize Notifications, debuted with One UI 8.5 on the Galaxy S26 series earlier this year and is now available on the Galaxy S25 series as well.
Prioritize Notifications uses AI to surface important notifications first. It analyzes the content of each notification to determine its importance relative to other notifications. Messages and emails are typically given higher priority.
Summarize Notifications uses AI to generate summaries for long messages or multiple short messages from family members and friends. The feature currently supports only notifications that are in the same language as the phone’s primary system language.
This update is expected to reach the Galaxy S25 series in more countries and regions over the coming days.
